Sleepy Brant and Got Milk?

I love Brant's got milk shirt and it is almost too small, so I took some pictures of him today. He is getting so big. He was 16 1/2 pounds and almost 27 inches at his 4 month check up.

Some of Brant's firsts

On May 4th, one day before turning 4 months old, Brant's first tooth came through. He's been chewing on his hands and my fingers like crazy. Add a lot of drool and fussiness to the massive spitter he already is and we have a bit of a mad house here. His second tooth is about to come in as well, and even though I can tell he is in pain, he still gives great smiles!

Brant also had his first taste of real food this month. He caught on really fast and loves it.

Field Day

When Mason and I pulled up to Mia's school for field day, I asked Mason if he was ready to go find Mia and he said "no, I want to go find Becca." Becca is the little sister of one of Mia's friends. Mason and Becca ran around for two hours and ended the afternoon with red cheeks. We all had fun watching Mia.Mia's favorite part of the day was popping a water balloon to get her teacher wet. Mason would jump up in the air after each kid popped their balloon.....very exciting stuff.

BYU Baby!

It's never to early to brain wash my kids!

Blessing Day

We were very excited to have so much family here for Brant's blessing on March 29th. Jared's parents and sister, Sara, got here Friday night. We spent Saturday morning at the mall and then we met up with my parents and Becky and Glenden (my sister and her husband) to take a quick tour of downtown Denver. We met up with Jared's brother Jordan and his girlfriend Kamera who drove in from Texas. Mia and Mason wanted to go rollerskating, so we squeezed that in too. It was fun to meet Kamera and see my sister 6 months pregnant (barely showing! that stinker). It was nice having Glenden and both grandpas to join Jared in the blessing circle. It was a wonderful day. Jared's family left Monday morning and my parents stayed till Wednesday. We loved every minute of it. The kids had fun swimming at the hotel pool, playing on the elevators, watching cartoons, bowling, and spending each night at the hotel with grandparents. We are already looking forward to a long summer break in Idaho....only two more months!!!

another buzz

I was bored yesterday since the kids are sick and we have been a little home bound, so I decided to buzz Mason's hair. The picture of it long reminds me of Edward from the Twilight movie.

Snow Days

I know it's spring, but I just downloaded all the pics off of Jared's camera (aka the good camera), and he had taken a bunch of pictures from Christmas when he took the kids sledding on their new sled. Plus we got tons of snow during spring break, so the first thing the kids did when Jared's parents and sister walked in the door was ask if they could go sledding. So, here is one last ode to winter and now we can hopefully hang on to the wonderful spring weather!!!!
