Mia got her cast off a couple of weeks ago. I was very ready to get that thing off after six weeks of being paranoid of the water anywhere near Mia. Jared bought a grinding plate to hook onto his drill and went to town. Mia was glad to have it off and we celebrated by going down to the pool for a night swim.

I laughed when I read about Jared buying a grinding plate and doing the job himself. I'm sure he was as excited about taking the cast off as Mia was to get the actual cast off. What a great dad!
