Jeff decided that for his birthday present this year he wanted plane tickets to come see us(the Rockies tickets that Jared has access to had nothing to do with his desire to come visit). This is a huge deal because I know he was planning on asking for money to buy a CD player for his car. So my parents bought him plane tickets and Jared got hold of box tickets for all of us to see the Rockies game.
The kids had fun buying Jeff's favorite treats to wrap for presents; hanging up the birthday decorations; picking out doghnuts, and blowing out Jeff's candles. We had a wonderful, but too short, weekend with Jeff. The Rockies have been "Jeff's team" for the last several years.(I don't get it, but I guess guys have to declare "their team" that they officially cheer for) Jeff was like a little kid in a candy store. He walked all around the stadium getting the view from every angle. He made sure he got his picture taken with the mascot. He bought a signed ball, a hat and an official jersey. He even had me take a picture of him catching a fake foul ball. The kids had a blast. Uncle Jeff is a favorite with them. Thanks for the visit Jeff!

How fun to get your brother in town for the weekend. It looks like you guys had a blast!
So nice of your brother to fly out to visit YOU for his Birthday. It was very kind of Jared to get him tickets to the game, in hopes he'd enjoy it! ;)
