Mason's Haircut

Mason recently got a major hair cut. It was hard to part with his beautiful long wavy locks, but his hair was starting to look like a mullet in the back, so off it went. Here is the before and after...He's handsome both ways, but I think we'll grow it out again for fun.

We Love Fall

This fall we have had fun with a lot of new things for our family. We went on a few hikes which was a first for Mason, and a first for me to carry him in the backpack. Mia started taking gymnastics and soccer at the local rec center. Soccer just ended, but she has really enjoyed it and is loving gynmastics. Mia has also started preschool. I have been taking turns teaching the preschool with the other two moms, my friends Tifani and Sueann. We've had all of our birthdays this fall, plus Jared and I just had our fifth anniversary. Mia had a huge princess birthday party with her friend Olivia who has a birthday two days before Mia. Mason had a good first birthday, and especially enjoyed the cupcakes.

Summer Highlights

Here are the highlights of our summer. Jared's sister Sara came to visit for a week which is always fun for everyone. We went to WaterWorld and had a fun picnic on the fourth of July that got rained out just before the fireworks.

Mid July, I took the kids to Idaho(Our favorite place in the whole world) to visit cousins(MaCall, Landan, and Raegan),aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We had a wonderful time at the Corbridge reunion. We also enjoyed seeing Angie and spending a fun week with Will and Jan. Jared joined us at the end of July. We spent two different days in the Salt Lake area seeing the new Joseph Smith movie, playing in the fountains at the Gateway mall, seeing the planetarium, target shooting at Cabellas, seeing the dinasour museum and eating icecream. Jared got in touch with his inner country boy by helping my Dad with bailing hay.

.
After spending some time in Malad, we headed up to Rexburg. We had a blast at Grandma and Grandpa Craner's cabin in Island park with Sara, Jordan, Mom, and Dad. We had fun feeding the fish, window shopping, and roasting marshmellows. My personal favorite was the canoe trip down the river (thanks Jordan!)

Hi

Hi Everyone,

I guess I'm going to try this blog thing. My main motive for doing so is to let everyone see my cute kids. I'm partial, but I think they are adorable and I think everyone should get to see them. =) Well, more coming soon.
