He made it to Chile

Jared left last week for Chile and after a couple of short flights and one very long one, he made it. The kids get to see and talk to him every day on the computer, and they always come running to tell me whenever the computer is ringing. Jared says he is doing well and is just trying to adjust to the language again. He's only gotten lost a couple times and he says that the roads aren't too crazy, just a few weird road rules he'll have to get use to. We miss him already, but only 10 weeks to go.

I'm not sure how he got all this and more to Chile, but he managed to pack it all in.

Sounds like you have been busy! I think Mason looks so much like your little brother! Your kids are really cute - definitely Crowthers! What does your husband do that he has to go to Chile?

We left church right after Sacrament because the kids were being nuts and Steve was sick. Why is Jared in Chile!? Are you going to have the baby while he's gone? Thank goodness for good friends in the ward, huh?

Liz, YOU are my hero!

And Chile!?...

(I don't feel sorry for him at all...I bet it is warmer down there, then what we have!!!)

What's Jared doing in Chile? Do you need any help at all? I'm amazed he was able to get all that stuff to Chile...wow. You hang in there, and seriously let me know if there is anything I can do to help out. I'm not that far away.

Wow...that's a long time! But if anyone can do it, you can. I wish I were there to help and keep you company! And happy birthday to your kids! I forgot how all the birthdays in your family come all at once. That play place looks like fun!

Odd question for you - do you happen to know of anyone traveling from Denver to Idaho or Utah in the next week or so?

We should definitely get together while he's gone. Looks like Mason and Mia had fun birthdays. It was great seeing you the other day.

Liz, I came across you blog on Janita's page. I guess with the reunion and everything, everyone is getting in touch. Your family is cute, and it looks like all is well. It can't be fun to have your husband gone for so long. The longest my husband has been away is 10 days.

That place the kids went to for their birthdays looks really fun. Please call me if you need anything while Jared is out of town. You are amazing! I complain even when John just has to work late. We've only been apart for like 5 days, and it nearly killed me. If anyone can pull it off, it's you!

Liz, how are you hanging in there? Ashley and I were with Aunt Maxine and Sara today. We were talking about you. Sara was telling us how laid back you are and about how well you're handling this. You're awesome!

I can't believe he really went!!! And I'm not surprised that you chose not to go -smart woman. Hope the 10 weeks go by quick and that you don't have that baby early!
